Business Development Manager
Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO, your role will be to drive the commercial capability of the company. Targeting high-quality, viable conversations, pushing the customer and internal team to convert those opportunities into hardware sales at pace, and providing cross-function alignment.
- Provide targeted initial contact and continual development of the sales pipeline in our chosen markets.
- Drive all opportunities identified forward and minimise stalling through the customer journey.
- Bridge customer need with technical capability and challenge both customers and internal teams to deliver better outcomes.
- Provide a commercial sharpness and mindset to raise the overall commercial standard of the company.
- Represent the company at technical conferences, exhibitions, and customer sites delivering presentations and leading commercial discussion as required.
Person Profile
- Proactive with experience in B2B capex sales to industries that routinely use NDT (Aerospace, Space, Medical, Defence) and prior revenue or pipeline ownership
- Able to create and maintain commercial momentum, both with customers and the internal teams.
- Comfortable engaging technically with customers and internal engineering teams
- Able to confidently present precise technical or commercial information
